For this challenge, they needed a strong repositioning and also a brand enhancement in line with the new personality. The brand should remain true to its roots and core values while representing a dynamic, future-ready company in the energy sector.

Before developing the brand strategy, we conducted an in-depth brand audit: a comprehensive analysis of Ndustrial’s brand assets across the website and other digital communication channels. We mapped the competitive landscape by analyzing their competitors and placing the players on a positioning map. After identifying the industry communication trends, we started exploring the Energy company’s future positioning: We defined decarbonization, Industry 4.0, and the “Ndustrial community” (partnerships and care for the planet and industry workers) as key territories to explore in their communication. Efficiency, authenticity, resiliency, and innovation were defined as their brand values in line with the handyman/woman as brand archetype: a swift combination of the sage, the friend, and the leader’s personality traits. Ndustrial’s tone of voice should be characterized by being practical and bold, reliable and predictable, tolerant and encouraging, as well as swift and curious.
