Exaloop develops computational tools to bridge the gap between high performance and ease of use across a range of domains, particularly life sciences and bioinformatics. Their goal is to enable anyone to write high-performance code using Python.
Exaloop makes code run faster, hardware work more effectively, and removes the need for specialized software skills. Recognizing the necessity of a brand aligned with their powerful product and tech-heavy value proposition, they reached out to us for a brand enhancement. We realized an overhaul of their company logo, product logo, colors, and typography. Aligned with their new visual identity, we designed and developed the startup’s website, complemented by branded illustrations.
Exaloop’s name consists of “exa” for exascale computing, large quantities of data, and “loop” as in the programming loop. Combined, it alludes to the fact that the Deep tech startup makes processing large quantities of data easy and efficient. With their purpose to “bridge the gap between performance and simplicity in programming” in mind, we built a visual identity based on a powerful, urban, visionary, and clever personality. Speed and efficiency are communicated across the brand with dynamic colors, sleek illustrations, and subtle yet engaging animations.
The landing page of the tech startup is simple yet powerful and efficient yet informative. Branded illustrations visually reflect product features and big letters grab the users’ attention. The text in the ATF is highlighted with a glowing lime effect, aligned with the lime buttons and illustration elements. Subtle animations as in the ATF illustration convey dynamic and speed. Alternating dark and sand backgrounds keep the user engaged, guiding them to the bottom of the landing page with a powerful CTA.
"They're just great at what they do!"
Our final website looked amazing - above and beyond even what we were envisioning at the onset. Very creative in their approach and they continually brought new and good ideas to the table. We didn't have to micromanage and it was mostly hands-off for us. It was a fantastic experience working with them.
