Zero Prime approached us to refresh its brand and digital presence, with the goal to better reflect its role as a leading investor in the data and AI ecosystem. Zero Prime’s value proposition was translated into a clear, confident brand system that resonates with AI and data-driven startups, reinforcing its reputation as a first-choice VC firm for founders building at the frontier of technology.
While the brand needed to attract deeply technical and innovative people looking for trust and experience, it should also convey a sense of exclusivity, communicated by a minimalist and modest identity. We departed from their name: Zero Prime’s name reflects their timing—investing at "Day 0"—and their target audience: mathematically sophisticated founders who, like the number zero itself, don't fit conventional classifications of prime or composite numbers. Zero Prime supports them from building software to building successful companies; the brand should be the environment for growth. Aligned with the archetypes of The Creator and The Sage, the brand communicates control and innovation.
The website was designed for speed, clarity, and a highly technical audience. Layouts prioritize structure and hierarchy, making the investment thesis and value proposition immediately legible. Subtle motion in the above-the-fold brand shapes adds depth without competing with the copy. A beige base creates a sense of trust and stability, while Deep Teal and Zero Prime Green accents guide attention across key interactions.
